In November 2016 Andrews Construction completed the first of 2 new ponds to expand Ragged Mountain Resort’s snowmaking capabilities. The first snowmaking pond will hold 24 million gallons of water compared to the pond’s old capacity of 4 million. The new ponds will allow Ragged Mountain to open up terrain early in the season. Andrews completed the work for the second pond in the fall of 2017.
